Modern

After getting my wirefeeder, I set it up and tried using it on one of my outside outlets. I set it up, which only took a minute. I will say I've been using innershield for a long time, so I'm sure it might be a little intimidating to people not used to it. A tip: Use needle nose pliers to grip the wire and feed it into the rollers- and don't let go! Anyway, I set the heat on high, then proceded to set the wire speed. Worked good, but after about 10 seconds, it kicked off. I went in and checked the breaker, which had kicked, and it was a 15 amp. A friend needed a trailer repaired, and I took it to his house and it worked great. I'm assuming he has a 20amp breaker. I used it again today on another project, and it did fine at that garage, too. I bought a 20A breaker for my side yard outlet, so it should be good here. As far as the welding, I was really surprised that it did as well as it does. The wire is tiny, (.030), but it feeds fast, and seems to burn in really well. I have to hold a close arc and move more slowly than I'm used to with 64/thou flux core, but that's to be expected. I'm really happy with it, and aside from putting down a barely 1/8' pass, it's almost as good as my little gas DC welder. I'm a retired Ironworker, and have had to weld paper thin to 6' thick, and this beats any 110v innershield that I've used. Albeit, I quit using them pretty much after I used one of the first Lincolns that came out in the late 80's. I didn't want to chance failing a weld that used a machine that could be affected by erratic voltage drops that seem to happen on jobs out in the field. But for home, and as a 'totable' welder that can be taken anywhere in the back of your trunk (or your front seat, for that matter), it's really a nifty little unit! AND, it hasn't been outsourced by some greedy, tax evading corporation. MADE IN THE U.S.OF A.!!

Auto Arc 130 With Welding Gun OM. The symbols shown below are used throughout this manual. The heat and rays of the arc can react with vapors to form. Hobart Auto-Arc 130 110 volt welder. Negative lead, negative clamp, 1 small roll of Hobart flux core wire, a nozzle, 3 tips, and a stinger. Destruction manual. May 11, 2013  My Auto Arc 130 Kit came with a fixed flow regulator and from every thing I had read, it seemed to have a flow rate that was too high for some work and could unnecessarily empty your shielding gas tank too quickly. So I found the Fourney regulator. I included several Victor regulators as well. Hope this info helps out other Auto Arc owners. Auto Arc 130 And H-9B Welding Gun. TABLE OF CONTENTS. The symbols shown below are used throughout this manual to call attention to and identify possible hazards. The Auto Arc 130 finally arrived yesterday, and was in good shape. The weather is bad so I haven't taken any photos yet, but it's nice. The cart is dinky, but usable, and easy to assemble quickly. Free download manager virus. The welder says, 'Auto Arc 130' from Hobart, and 'Made in the USA'.

This is an excellent deal on a quality homeowner welder. The gas kit is a good thing to have, but the helmet and especially the cart are of dubious value. The cart is just too low and dinky. The included helmet is fine for an extra, but too dark to use inside. I'll save it to allow someone who wants to observe use.
The welder itself is made by Miller/Hobart, and is made in the U.S.A. It is high-powered for a 130 amp model. I feel this is a very conservative rating. The welder comes ready to weld with fluxcore wire. The cart has space for and a safety chain for tank. I thing an 80 cu. ft. tank will fix nicely. I'll probably alter the cart and add another shelf above the two that are there. The regulator is another U.S.A. product and seems to be of great quality. It also comes with additional .030 contact tips and a nozzle. The gun is rather short at 8'. I am happy with my purchase.
