After the Update of my S7 my phone not connected to my PC i got error on USB not recognized i changed my datacable change adn try different usb ports and also different PC but all i got same problem.. So i decided to Factory restore my Phone after Restoration i got and other problem that is my Fingerprint Scanner stop working when try to set Fingerprint the pop up comes 'Make Sure the Home Key is Clean and Dry then try again '

I had the same problem. After system 30 update my phone started getting severely hot about every ten minutes whether I was using it or not and everytime it would do that my battery would drop significantly. Then one time my phone just kept turning off and on by itself. I had no control over it so I Called Verizon and told them. The tech said she believed it was because of software and that my phone should be replaced in store at verizon because there was a recall on this. Verizon did end up sending me a new phone and all was good until this new S7 updated and now it is doing the same thing

Since the latest update for galaxy s7 edge, I no longer get messaging notifications and I reset the notifications plus it won't notify me of a message even if I use my Bluetooth. It did all of those things before the update

my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge started flickering after the marshmallow update. no one , one instructions can fix it. It was not dropped , it looks pristine . I am upset that i paid all that money and immediatly i had to lease another cell from sprint. I need help so bad because the edge was beautiful and i loved it. I cant get a clear home screen to even try to reset anything.

The latest update placed on my phone 7/28/2019 has removed my auto rotate feature. I am now stuck with landscape mode only. At first I just thought the switch was reset.. Nope, it is gone!!!! It's driving me crazy!!!

Although after the oreo update, my phone seems to performing okay, but the battery life has reduced drastically. I am getting a screen on time of a maximum of 2 hours. The battery when fully charged, shows estimated battery life of 10 hours. This phone is equipped with a 3600mah battery. The s10 comes with a 3400 mah battery.

Replaced battery, new cables, and still won't fast charge after update. Talked to Samsung rep, and he said this was an isolated incident. I had read of thousands of similar issues, and when I told him hes full of shit, he just kept denying responsibility. Pretty much lost my cool on him. This is a total scam to buy new products. Pretty sure Apple had a class action lawsuit for a similar stunt. Always have been a loyal Samsung customer and always happy with them up until now. Looking forward to a class action lawsuit, just based on principle alone. This was some shady shit.
Round Two. Launch Disk Utility, select the problem disc in the sidebar, and hit the Eject button at the top of the window. Launch the Terminal app (found in the Utilities folder within Applications), and enter the following command: drutil ejectBy now, if the issue is software related (and it usually is), one of these tricks will have worked by now. If your disk is still stuck:. Cd won't eject car.

lol, 28 Apr 2019S7 edge owners - suggest u stop auto updates from samsung - the latest one totally bricked my .. moreafter the recent update my phone get crash 3 times.(I try all the button stuffs to start the phone)
1st time= black screen and phone is not responding for two days. my phone start with power button in the service centre.
2nd time= after taking my phone from service center it's system crashes(same problem as above but with blue led light blinking). then after two day I take the phone to service center, they remove the battery and phone works fine for 1 month.
3rd time=black screen and phone is not responding for half hour. my phone start with power button at home.
please help me my friends, I am not that rich to afford new phone

Anonymous, 04 May 2019Avoid updates. April one that I did choose to update reset my cell to factory serting. There b.. moreApril 11 2019 software updated on my S7 Edge it wiped out my photos and videos from February 2019 trip to Tenerife and also pictures taken in March 2019.
Anyone had same issues please respond as Samsung is claiming it is an isolated incident. Thanks WK

Since the April update my Samsung battery is draining fast seems like Samsung is looking for people to purchase theyÂ’re new phone IÂ’m pissed it was fine until the update Samsung get it together before I jump ship

After last update, my galaxy s7 immediately began acting up. Battery life is down. My phone will no longer fast charge, even with new chargers and cables. To top it off, my phone became slow responding. I went as far as to install brand new battery, new wireless charger and still the problem exists. Did every suggested fix, and no luck. Also the USB/Bluetooth connection does not work anymore. My wife has the same phone same age s7. It has never had a software update. ((Guess what)). it works as good as the day we purchase them. I have a Samsung tablet 6 years old used every day and still working fine. Other countries like Italy has made lawsuit against Samsung and Iphone and they got fined. No more Samsung product for me 1000s of samsung users can't be wrong

To top it off, my phone became sluggish. I went as far as to install brand new battery, and still the problem exists. Did every suggested fix I could find from other galaxy owners, and no luck.Called Samsung about the issue , and they acted as if this was a unique problem I was having..Ha ha. I called b.s. on the rep , and told him that there are a staggering amount of people having similar issues. He told me he wasnt aware of it. I hate being lied to. Deny , deny deny..They fucked up and are refusing to take responsibility for the problem they created. Probably just a coincidence it happens around the same time they release the s10. I have always been a loyal Samsung customer, and until now have found thier products to be very reliable. This was some shady shit. Looking forward to a class action lawsuit against them. It's not so much about the phone issues, as it is principle. Its thier complete disregard to accept responsibility for a problem they knowingly, and perhaps intentionally created. Sooner or later it will bite them in the ass.I hate iOS, but pretty sure this will be the last Samsung product I buy, unless they remedy the situation, and top it off with a sincere apology for inconveniencing us all.

My S7 not only has the rapid battery drain, but the screen view splits vertically, I think due to system lag. It is not the normal 'split screen' option. I have restarted in safe mode and nothing changed. Deleted apps, nothing changed. I'm so frustrated. Why isn't there an answer yet to all the issues?

Jko, 09 Apr 2019My phone just asked me to update the software (it's 5:00pm EST 2019-4-9). Im hesitant to allow.. moreAvoid updates. April one that I did choose to update reset my cell to factory serting. There by erasing all unsaved or backed up info. Had to reinter all settings and apps. This current I made sure not to accept and it did it updated itself and did some reset to my cell.

After software update no notifications on phone calls or text message. Emojis have changed. Text message for multiple people sometimes work other times not. Also getting a rolling Verizon banner on locked screen. Using more battery. My phone worked fine before update.
